My name is Yihong Ma. I graduated from Harbin Medical University in 2014 then came to the Department of Neurology in Kumamoto University as a PhD Student from the 2015. In Prof. Ando’s Lab, a great advanced research team that studies the role of the nervous system in suspected disease, with a focus on Family Amyloid Polyneuropathy, neuromuscular disease, Neuro immune diseases, etc. One of my research theme is to understand the development of TTR associated antigens targeted by therapeutic antibody in FAP patient to understand how the associated antibodies that control the deposits of amyloid fibrils are organized and function. Another main goal is how about molecular genetic approaches to understand CADASL and evolution of Skin biopsy with different gene types and use the CADADSIL genetic mouse for analysis the function of GOM deposition. These tools may eventually prove useful for understanding complicated mechanism and prevention in humans. Making a significant contribution to our understanding of human disease is my greatest interest. Transfer my research to the conversion of scientific and technological achievements in my motherland what I aspire toward in the whole life. Except that More than 2 years living in Japan, I had visited most of the Intangible Cultural Heritage at here to feel cultural diversification and enjoy the color life. Additionally, variety of colorful and dynamic life which is prepared in our department makes my overseas experience wonderfully. Extending my sincere appreciation to Prof. Ando and all the staffs in this Family.
